In 2011, we jointly established the "Weixing Integrated Network Marketing Research Institute" with Fudan University. Many researchers in the institute are now the most popular young lecturers at Tongji University, Shanghai International Studies University, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. In 2013, we jointly established the "Big Data and New Media Research Center" with Shanghai University, focusing on big data and business intelligence research.
Weixing emphasizes that in today's era of big data and fragmentation, it is necessary to not only collect data, analyze data, mine data, and gain insights from data—moving from owning data to predicting needs to provide a strong basis for online marketing and brand marketing—but also to focus on creating internet content, organizing planning teams, creative teams, copywriting teams, and execution teams to work with technical teams to provide clients with comprehensive digital marketing solutions.
Adhering to the concept of "Integrating digital resources, technology-driven marketing," Weixing particularly emphasizes the importance of technical marketing. To enhance the company's R&D capabilities, it has recruited many outstanding R&D talents from well-known IT companies such as IBM, Microsoft, and Huawei.
In 2014, Shanghai Weixing Group was established, providing comprehensive products, technology, and resources for merchants. The core of its products and services is designed around "the stage cycle and business purpose of traditional enterprises' internet business transformation."
As an innovative national high-tech enterprise, Weixing has received high attention from the Hongkou District Government, the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Municipal Commerce Commission, and the Municipal Development and Reform Commission. It has now become a key coaching enterprise of the Shanghai Hongkou District Restructuring and Listing Office. In the past 10 years, Weixing has established branches in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and other places. As of now, most of the nearly 800 "Weixing people" are engaged in technical work, providing products and services to over 30,000 clients, covering dozens of industries including e-commerce, e-government, e-education, tourism, education and training, lifestyle services, IT, automotive, finance (insurance, securities, funds), healthcare, fast-moving consumer goods, apparel, and industrial products.
